From ISA to MODEX — See What’s Next

If you saw us last week at ISA, you’ll want to check out what we’re bringing to MODEX in April. This time we’re bringing our full lineup of handheld tools, including the Reacher collection and Coro-Claw cutters, along with material handling solutions like the  Scoop Dolly and Rack & Roll. MODEX is the perfect place to see how these tools perform in fast‑paced warehouse and distribution environments.

This year at MODEX, Sawtrax is proud to celebrate 38 years of innovation and customer trust. We sincerely thank our customers for their continued support and partnership over the decades, and we look forward to helping you meet your goals today and in the future.

MODEX organizes exhibitors into solution-specific zones across the three halls.

  • Hall A houses the StartUp Pavilion, Sustainability solutions, and Last Mile focus areas.
  • Hall B concentrates Manufacturing & Assembly Solutions, Information Technology Solutions, and Fulfillment & Delivery Solutions.
  • Hall C features Smart City Logistics/Connected Supply Chain Solutions, Transportation & Logistics Solutions, and Emerging Technologies.

The educational theater system spans multiple locations strategically positioned throughout the show floor:

  • Theaters A through E occupy Hall B, Level 1, positioned along the right-hand wall
  • Theaters F through I are located in Hall C, Level 1, similarly positioned for accessibility
  • Emerging Technologies Theater sits in Hall C near IoT and automation exhibitors
  • Transportation & Logistics Theater (hosted by DC Velocity) features town hall-style presentations in Hall C
  • MODEX Last Mile Theater (hosted by DC Velocity) operates in Hall A
  • Sustainability Theater (hosted by Guidehouse) in Hall A was added for MODEX 2024
  • StartUp Theater anchors the StartUp Pavilion in Hall A, hosting the live pitch competition

Each standard theater holds approximately 100 participants on a first-come, first-served basis with no standing room permitted. The Thomas Murphy Ballroom (Building B, Level 5) serves as the primary venue for keynotes and the MHI Industry Night entertainment event.

MHI Industry Group sessions—featuring expert panels from groups like ASRS, Conveyor & Sortation Systems, Mobile Automation, and Robotics—rotate through various theaters and consistently generate high attendance due to their multi-company perspective format.
