The Heavy-Duty Reacher Pole (HC) is the yard‑rated tool built to eliminate the single worst lift in building supply operations. It pulls 80‑lb bags from deep pallets, truck beds, and flatbeds while keeping workers upright and out of the danger zone. The curved top anvil protects bag integrity, preventing tears, spills, and cleanup costs. At 60 inches of reinforced steel, it reaches where workers shouldn’t. Made in the USA and built for daily abuse in lumber yards, home centers, and job‑site delivery crews.

  • Curved Top Anvil: Smooth, rounded profile hooks over concrete, mortar, soil, mulch, or feed bags without tearing paper or poly
  • 60" Deep Reach: Access the back row of pallets or the front of truck beds while staying upright and planted.
  • Reinforced HD Head: Permanently bonded, no threads to loosen, no wobble under load; rated to pull 160+ lbs.
  • Yard-Ready Steel: A 3‑lb handle that resists bending, with a built‑in storage hook for rack or cart mounting.

OSHA guidance is clear: bring the load to the worker before lifting. The Heavy Duty Reacher Pole does exactly that—removing the bent‑over, extended‑reach pull that drives overexertion injuries. It’s the ergonomic fix for concrete, mortar, feed, and landscape pallets across the industry.

  • Reduce Back Strain: Eliminates the high‑risk, bent‑over reach that multiplies compressive force on the spine
  • Prevent Bag Damage: Avoid torn sacks, spills, cleanup, and unsellable product.

Looking to improve safety and efficiency? Our Reach‑Nest Holder keeps your pole locked in place, and our Pocket Reachers give you a compact option for quick pulls.

The Heavy-Duty Reacher Pole (HC)

A 60-inch heavy‑duty steel reach pole engineered for pulling bagged materials from deep pallets and truck beds. Designed for concrete, mortar, soil, mulch, feed, and any bagged product that must be retrieved safely and intact.

Ergonomics + Safety

Deep‑pallet retrieval forces workers into the exact posture that drives strain injuries: bending forward, reaching several feet, and pulling heavy bags with one arm. This combination of load weight and horizontal reach dramatically increases lower‑back force and fatigue.

The Heavy-Duty Reacher Pole (HC) eliminates those risk factors by bringing the load closer before lifting. Workers stay upright, maintain a neutral spine, and use both hands on a stable handle instead of gripping a bag corner. The curved anvil allows smooth sliding rather than snagging, reducing sudden jerks and protecting bag integrity.

The result is a safer, repeatable retrieval method that aligns with recommended material‑handling practices and reduces exposure to overexertion injuries.

How it Works

  1. Hook the Anvil The curved top anvil slides over the top edge of the bag and creates a secure contact point without puncturing or tearing.
  2. Engage the Pull As the worker draws the pole back, the rounded profile lets the bag glide forward smoothly across the pallet surface.
  3. Transfer the Force The reinforced head channels pulling force directly through the 60-inch steel handle, giving leverage from an upright stance.
  4. Bring the Load Forward The bag moves to the pallet edge where it can be lifted close to the body with both hands, reducing reach distance and strain.
  5. Store at the Rack The integrated hook allows the tool to hang at the concrete or mortar rack so it’s always accessible where heavy retrieval happens.
