Whether it is a Coro Claw flute cutter, a Biddi knife safety cutter, Guardian Knife Guide or a Panel Saw Combo substrate cutter, having a Saw Trax cutter is a must for cutting sheet blanks to usable sizes.
The Coro Claw flute cutter is used for Coro pvc products such as Coroplast. There is a 3 mil, 4 mil and 10 mil cutter. These cutters are ideal for cutting in the direction of the flutes or for scoring to make bends in the sheet.
The Biddi Knife is a safety cutter used for cutting banner, vinyl, film, laminate or other products. It is a two bladed knife allowing the user to cut forward or backward without changing the grip. The design allows the user to cut without the need of a cutting mat. It is great for cutting material off of a printer or laminator because it can’t cut the drum.
The Guardian Knife Guide uses an aluminum track with an OLFA knife that has a bracket attached to allow it to ride on the aluminum track. It has the convenience and ease of alignment of a safety ruler and the accuracy of a Gemini or Javelin knife guide. Because of the simplistic design, it is about 25% of the cost of the more expensive knife guides.
The Panel Saw / Substrate cutter combo vertical panel cutter (Sign Makers Panel Saw), combines two of the needed sign shop cutters into one machine. The saw with the exceptional dust collection feature, allows the user to cut rigid sheets like MDO, Aluminum, Acrylic and composite materials in both directions. The knife cutter makes cutting the non-rigid materials like foam boards and Coroplast a dust free experience. An optional rolling shear cuts 3 mil composite aluminum sheets with no dust and rounded edges. The optional sheet clamp and glass cutter provides all of the advantages of the substrates cutter at a fraction of the cost and none of the floor space.
